1) Max Havelaar Quality Label:

Max Havelaar stands for fair trade with farming cooperatives and plantations. This includes among other things:

• fair prices to cover costs of production

• guaranteed wages above the legal minimum for workers

• fair trade premium for the realisation of community projects

• long-term trade relations

Products are grown in accordance with strict standards (social and environmental) to guarantee premium quality.

Kiliflora was certified by the  Max Havelaar  Fair Trade Label in April 2003. The Kiliflora Worker's Development Fund is driven by the work force and managed by  an active Joint Body.

MPS-ETI ensures that Kiliflora runs its business in the most ethical and fair way according to international standards

5) MPS-SQ (Socially Qualified)

Kiliflora fully subscribes to socially qualified certification and adheres to the followings :-

• Employment is freely chosen.
• Freedom of association and right to collective bargaining.
• Working conditions are safe and hygienic.
• Child labour should not be used.
• Wages above the legal minimum requirement are being paid on time.
• No discrimination is practiced, with gender equality highly emphasized.
• No harsh or inhuman treatment is allowed.

6) BOPP (British Ornamental Plants Producers)

With BOPP certifications, Kiliflora endeavors to have world class grading and packing facilities that emphasize on consistent quality through continuous staff training and having proper documentations and checklist for all the post harvest processes.

7) RED CROSS

Kiliflora emphasizes the health and physical fitness of all its employees by  providing regular first aid training and having an active committee that oversees all health activities.

8) OCCUPATION SAFETY AND HEALTH COMPLIANCE LICENCE

Kiliflora is committed in providing a safe and healthy environment to all its employees, stakeholders and communities.

9) Flower Label programme (FLP) :

The Flower Label Program sets standards of human rights and environmental protection for flower farms in the following areas :-

• 4) Health safeguards and a secure working environment.
